Calling Fouls
- Player Recognition: When a foul occurs, players involved in the play or those with the best perspective on the incident recognize the foul.
- Call Made: The player who recognizes the foul makes a call by verbally indicating the foul to nearby players to stop play.
- Discussion: Players involved in the foul may briefly discuss the incident to resolve any disagreements or clarify the nature of the foul.
- Intervention: If the players cannot resolve the foul themselves, they may call for the nearby players. Nearby players should not intervene unless requested.
- Decision:
- If it is decided that a foul did occur, an indirect free kick will be awarded from the spot of the foul, or a direct penalty kick if the foul was inside the box.
- If it is decided that a foul did not occur, the player who had possession of the ball will be awarded an indirect free kick from the point where the ball was when the call was made.
- If no decision can be reached, the result will be a goal kick for the team who had possession of the ball when the call was made.
- Fair Play: Regardless of the outcome, players are expected to respect each other's decision and continue playing in the spirit of fair competition.
Course of Play
- Teams shall field 9 players at a time.
- If, excepting playoff and championship games, both teams agree to play 8v8 or 10v10, this is allowed.
- There is not an off-side rule.
- All free kicks (including kick-offs, goal kicks, and corner kicks) are indirect except for penalty kicks.
